What is polyurea?
Polyurea is not a single material. It is a polymer derived from the two-component chemical reaction (A + B). The ingredients are blended with special equipment and immediately sprayed on the surface that we want to seal.
The final material creates a very flexible and at the same time durable single membrane, impermeable to water and moisture, with high resistance to solar radiation and mechanical stress.
It has dozens of applications on many different surfaces covering even the most challenging and demanding applications. It can be used with the same excellent results either as a final sealing layer in exposed roofs (eg roof waterproofing) or as a sealed sealing layer (eg sealing before application of cement mortar and tiles).

Technical description of the system of sprayed polyurea
Surface cleaning
Cleaning of the surface with special machines and local surface repairs (wherever required).
Repairs
Any damages to the slab (eg cracks) are repaired with pre-treated repair fibrous cement mortar. The working joints of the concrete to be coated will be expanded to V-shape and sealed with a repairing geogrid.
Primer adhesion
Apply of special two-component primer with a substrate temperature that should be above 12 ° C, which also has the corresponding drying times depending on the application season.
Apply two coats of sprayed polyurea
Next follows two coatings with sprayed polyurethane sealant of very high technical characteristics, high mechanical strength and high resistance to solar radiation. After application, it creates a membrane that is highly watertight, with very high adhesion and maintains its properties from -35 ° C to + 80 ° C.
