Sikagard-700 S 5L Water repellent concrete impregnation

Sikagard®-700 S is a one-component water-repellent impregnation for absorbent, cement-based substrates. It penetrates the open pores of the substrate, offering durable water-repellent action, while also allowing water vapor to diffuse in both directions.
Sikagard®-700 S complies with the requirements of EN 1504-2 for hydrophobic impregnation (Class I penetration depth).

• Recommendation: Silanes / Siloxane in an organic solvent
• Lifetime: 12 months from date of manufacture
• Storage conditions: Store in the original, closed and sealed packaging, in dry and cool conditions. Protect it from moisture.
• Density: ~ 0.800 kg/l (at +20 °C)
• Ignition point: Closed container: ~30°C (~86°F)

Uses

• Sikagard®-700 S is used as a water-repellent and colorless protective paint on exposed absorbent materials, such as concrete, cement-based plasters, concrete tiles, fiber-reinforced cement, masonry (lime and clay sand, not vitrified), natural stone, etc.
• Sikagard®-700 S can also be used as a water-repellent primer under solvent-based paints or other protective dispersion paints.
• Sikagard®-700 S is used as a water-repellent impregnation (hydrophobicity) for absorbent substrates such as concrete in civil engineering constructions or concrete structures.
