Sikagard®-700 S is a one-component water-repellent impregnation for absorbent, cement-based substrates. It penetrates the open pores of the substrate, offering durable water-repellent action, while also allowing water vapor to diffuse in both directions.
Sikagard®-700 S complies with the requirements of EN 1504-2 for hydrophobic impregnation (Class I penetration depth).

Uses

  • Sikagard®-700 S is used as a water-repellent and colorless protective paint on exposed absorbent materials, such as concrete, cement-based plasters, concrete tiles, fiber-reinforced cement, masonry (lime and clay sand, not vitrified), natural stone, etc.
  • Sikagard®-700 S can also be used as a water-repellent primer under solvent-based paints or other protective dispersion paints.
  • Sikagard®-700 S is used as a water-repellent impregnation (hydrophobicity) for absorbent substrates such as concrete in civil engineering constructions or concrete structures.
