Isomat Aquamat Penetrate Spreadable Sealant 20kg Grey

AQUAMAT-PENETRATE is a spreadable, one-component, cement-based waterproofing mortar.

It contains special active chemical components, which upon contact with moisture and the existing calcium hydroxide of the concrete, are activated and form insoluble compounds (crystals).

These crystals seal the pores and capillaries of the concrete, thus giving it complete hydrophobicity.

AQUAMAT PENETRATE offers the following advantages: 

• It remains permanently active, constantly protecting the structure from the presence of water.
• Offers full sealing even at positive hydrostatic pressure up to 5 atm according to EN 12390-8
• It can also receive negative pressures.
• Adheres perfectly to concrete
• It has the ability to seal capillary cracks up to 0.4 mm wide, even when they appear afterwards.
• Possible damage to the surface of the concrete or the waterproofing layer does not affect the waterproofing of the structure. 
• Protects concrete from carbonation.
• It does not corrode the steel of reinforced concrete.
• It is suitable for potable water tanks, as well as for application to surfaces in contact with food, according to the requirements of W-347.
• It does not affect the breathability of the structural element.
• It is applied simply and economically. It is classified as a concrete surface protection product, according to EN 1504-2 standard. Certificate number: 2032-CPR10.11.

AQUAMAT PENETRATE has also been tested and approved by the National University of Water Management and Natural Resources (Rivne, Ukraine) – Laboratory of Testing Building Materials, for the following:

• Increasing the tightness of concrete to water pressure and reducing capillary absorption of water.
• Increasing the frost resistance of concrete.
• No effect on concrete strength.
• Increasing the chemical resistance of concrete.
