The CYL-5 drill provides excellent drilling resistance to concrete and stone. The combination of the carbide mixture created at Bosch's plant and the diamond-cut edges make the drill extremely wear resistant. The friction on the helix, due to the powder of the material being pierced, is greatly reduced by the design of a double helix vario, which has a small, variable gradient that offers good dust removal and reduced wear. The Power Grip shaft system makes it possible to transfer the power of the tool 100% to the drill. This allows for immediate use of power for the jab, with no loss of power and therefore less wear.
