Waterproofing Mortar Elasticizer WATERFLEX 8kg

WATERFLEX is an elastomeric emulsion based on acrylic resin used as an elasticizer for cement mortars applied in a thin layer. 

• It completely replaces the mixing water of the WATERBLOCK spreadable waterproofing mortar. The combination of WATERBLOCK (grey or white) as component A and WATERFLEX as component B creates the flexible spreadable waterproofing system FLEXIBLOCK.
• Gives elasticity and improves adhesion when combined with VICOLITH tile adhesives

The final product resulting from the addition of WATERFLEX ensures the following properties:

• It is flexible
• It has great adhesive ability
• It is impermeable to water
• It dries hydraulically, even without coming into contact with air

WATERFLEX is used as component B for the manufacture of:
1. Flexible waterproofing coatings with the spreadable WATERBLOCK mortar (component A).
The resulting FLEXIBLOCK system has excellent adhesion to the substrate, bridges capillary cracks and is applied for external or internal waterproofing of basements. It is also certified for coating structural elements that are in permanent contact with drinking water such as pipes or tanks
2. Flexible joints in combination with VICOLITH hydraulic tile adhesive (component A) for gluing tiles on difficult substrates, such as old tile layers, novopan, wood or where large expansions and contractions are expected, such as on underfloor heating
