VIMAFLEX is an elastomeric emulsion used as a cement mortar.

VIMAFLEX is an elastomeric emulsion used as a cement mortar and in particular:

• WATERBLOCK coatable mortar
• Tile adhesive, based on cement, VICOLITH
• Cement to create elastic adhesive mortar.

The final product resulting from the addition of VIMAFLEX has the following properties:

• It is elastic
• It has great adhesive capacity
• It is impermeable to water
• It dries hydraulically, even without coming into contact with air.

VIMAFLEX is used as component B to manufacture:

• Elastic waterproofing coatings with the WATERBLOCK mortar (component A), where there is a risk of capillary cracks, even in case of negative water pressures.
• Rubber welds in combination with VICOLITH hydraulic tile adhesive (component A), for bonding tiles on difficult substrates, such as asphalt, old tile layers, chipboard, wood, metal or where large expansion joints are expected, such as over shrinkage.
• Rubber thin adhesive layers (elastic mortar) with (preferably white) cement (component A), for ceramic tiles, marbles, thermal insulation boards, etc.
